FAA Reduces Number of Remote Communications Outlets to be Decommissioned

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has finalized its plan to decommission remote communications outlets (RCOs) used by Flight Service Stations in the contiguous United States, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico, reducing the number of RCOs from 666 to 641, including 404 RCOs and 237 VOR outlets.
