Medicare Program Recognizes Revised NAIC Model Standards for Medicare Supplemental Insurance

The Medicare program has announced changes to the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization of 2015 (MACRA) to section 1882 of the Social Security Act, governing Medicare supplemental insurance, and recognizes the National Association of Insurance Commissioners' (NAIC) revised model regulation as the applicable standard.
