Notice of Availability of Draft Environmental Impact Statement for Greater Phoenix Project in Nevada

The Bureau of Land Management is seeking public comments on a draft environmental impact statement for Newmont's proposed expansion of its Phoenix Mine in Lander County, Nevada, which could extend the mine's life to 2063 and increase surface disturbance by 3,497 acres.
