VA Proposes Electronic Signature Requirement for Certain SGLI, FSGLI, and VGLI Applications

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is proposing a new regulation to require certain Servicemembers' Group Life Insurance (SGLI), Family SGLI (FSGLI), and Veterans' Group Life Insurance (VGLI) applications, elections, and beneficiary designations to be digitally signed and submitted electronically, in accordance with federal law.
