Rolls-Royce Corporation Issues Revised Airworthiness Directive for Turboshaft Engines

Rolls-Royce Corporation is revising its Airworthiness Directive (AD) for certain model 250 turboprop and turboshaft engines, requiring visual inspections and fluorescent-penetrant inspection of 3rd-stage turbine wheels while removing 4th-stage wheels from service, in response to a finding that 4th-stage wheels need to be removed at the next inspection to address an unsafe condition.
