Coast Guard Modifies Beach Lane Bridge Operating Schedule for Rehabilitation Work

The US Coast Guard has temporarily modified the operating schedule of the Beach Lane Bridge across the Quantuck Canal in Westhampton Beach, New York, to facilitate the rehabilitation of the drawbridge's bascule leaves. The change allows only one bascule span to be opened at a time to accommodate vessels requiring passage.
