NMFS Adjusts Tuna Quotas to Meet ICCAT Recommendations

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has made adjustments to tuna quotas for 2017 to comply with International Commission for the Conservation of Atlantic Tunas (ICCAT) recommendations and domestic management objectives under the Magnuson-Stevens Act, following available underharvest data from 2016.
