NMFS Approves Exempted Fishing Permit Renewal Application for Commercial Lobster Research

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has given preliminary approval to a renewal application for an Exempted Fishing Permit (EFP) from the Commercial Fisheries Research Foundation (CFRF), allowing participating commercial fishing vessels to research juvenile American lobster and Jonah crab populations along the northwest Atlantic coast.
