Sonoyta Mud Turtle Listed as Endangered Under Endangered Species Act

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has added the Sonoyta mud turtle, a species native to Arizona and Sonora, to the Federal List of Endangered and Threatened Wildlife, providing enhanced protections under the Endangered Species Act of 1973.
