U.S. Coast Guard Adds Polar Ship Certificate to List of Required SOLAS Certificates

The U.S. Coast Guard is introducing a new rule requiring U.S.-flagged ships and foreign-flag ships operating in polar waters to carry a Polar Ship Certificate, in compliance with the amended International Convention for Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS).
