U.S. Extends Temporary Protected Status for South Sudanese Nationals

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security has extended the Temporary Protected Status (TPS) designation for South Sudan for 18 months, from November 3, 2017, through May 2, 2019, allowing eligible nationals to re-register and apply for Employment Authorization Documents (EADs) with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).
