Head Start Program to Delay Compliance Date for Background Checks and Quality Rating Systems

The Office of Head Start will push back the deadline for implementing background check procedures and participating in state or local Quality Rating and Improvement Systems, allowing programs more time to prepare for these changes, as outlined in the final rule published in the Federal Register on September 6, 2016.
