FAA Cancels Environmental Impact Statement for Mesquite, Nevada Airport Replacement Project

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has discontinued preparation of an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for a new general aviation airport in Mesquite, Nevada, due to local economic and budgetary constraints, as well as the expiration of the land grant that provided the site for the project.
