EPA Approves Iowa's Infrastructure Plan for 2010 Sulfur Dioxide NAAQS

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has taken direct final action to approve elements of a State Implementation Plan (SIP) submission and an amended SIP submission from the State of Iowa for the 2010 Sulfur Dioxide National Ambient Air Quality Standard (NAAQS). This approval addresses the requirements of the Clean Air Act (CAA) section 110, which mandates that each state adopt and submit a SIP for implementing, maintaining, and enforcing new or revised NAAQS promulgated by the EPA.
