EPA Proposes Approval of Illinois' Nonattainment Plans for Lemont and Pekin SO2 Areas

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to approve Illinois' State Implementation Plan (SIP) revisions for the Lemont and Pekin areas, which must meet the 2010 1-hour sulfur dioxide national ambient air quality standard by October 4, 2018, as required by the Clean Air Act.
