FAA Suspends Implementation of Philadelphia International Airport Capacity Enhancement Program

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has suspended further implementation of the 2010 Record of Decision (ROD) for the Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) Capacity Enhancement Program (CEP) due to reduced airfield activity, resulting in no longer needing additional capacity to address severe congestion and significant delays.
