BLM to Amend Land Use Plans for Greater Sage-Grouse Conservation
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is announcing its intention to amend land use plans for Greater Sage-Grouse conservation in 10 western states, following a court ruling that the agency failed to prepare a supplemental Environmental Impact Statement for the designation of Sagebrush Focal Areas in Nevada. The BLM will solicit public comments on potential land use plan amendments through a scoping process.
