Treasury Amends Regulations to Exempt SIGTARP Records from Privacy Act

The Department of the Treasury has amended a part of its regulations to exempt certain records systems from the Privacy Act of 1974, in compliance with the requirements of the law. This exemption applies to records maintained by the Office of the Special Inspector General for the Troubled Asset Relief Program (SIGTARP).
