UPS Granted Partial Exemption from Electronic Logging Device Requirements

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has approved a limited 5-year exemption for United Parcel Service Inc. (UPS) to temporarily avoid using electronic logging devices (ELDs) for hours-of-service (HOS) compliance, allowing the company to continue using paper records of duty status (RODS) until December 2022.
