EPA Finalizes Residual Risk and Technology Review for Publicly Owned Treatment Works

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has finalized a rule addressing revisions to the National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP) for Publicly Owned Treatment Works (POTW) sources, including changes to applicability criteria, startup and shutdown provisions, and electronic reporting requirements.
