EPA Grants ExxonMobil Petition to Exclude Solid Waste from Hazardous Waste Control

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has granted ExxonMobil's petition to exclude certain solid waste from hazardous waste control, allowing it to be disposed of in Subtitle D landfills without regulation. The decision applies to the Beaumont, Texas facility and requires future-generated wastes to meet testing conditions to remain eligible for delisting.
