FMCSA Exempts 89 Individuals with Insulin-Treated Diabetes Mellitus from FMCSR Prohibition on Operating CMVs in Interstate Commerce

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has exempted 89 individuals with insulin-treated diabetes mellitus (ITDM) from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSRs) prohibition on operating a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) in interstate commerce. These exemptions allow individuals with ITDM to drive CMVs across state lines.
