Coast Guard Finalizes Interim Rule for Outboard Engine Weight Test Requirements

The US Coast Guard has finalized an interim rule to update the table of outboard engine weights used in calculating safe loading capacities and required flotation material, following public comments and in compliance with the 2015 Authorization Act, with the updated rule taking effect on June 1, 2018.
