Coast Guard Removes Drawbridge Operation Regulation for SR-520 Floating Bridge in Seattle

The US Coast Guard is eliminating the existing drawbridge operation regulation for the SR-520 Floating Bridge across Lake Washington in Seattle, Washington, as the bridge was replaced with a fixed bridge in 2016. The bridge was rebuilt with a fixed center span, rendering the drawbridge regulation unnecessary.
