Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) to Become Sole CBP-Authorized EDI System for U.S. Customs and Border Protection

The Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) will replace the Automated Commercial System (ACS) as the sole authorized electronic data interchange (EDI) system for generating, transmitting, and updating daily and monthly statements for all entries except reconciliation (type 09) entries, according to a recent announcement by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). This change is effective immediately and aims to improve the efficiency of customs processing.
