Oregon Requests Authorization to Remove California Sea Lions from Willamette River

The state of Oregon has submitted a request to the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) to allow the intentional killing of California sea lions in the Willamette River, which is harming the recovery of threatened steelhead and Chinook salmon populations.
