NMFS Approves Exempted Fishing Permit Application for Research on Atlantic Sea Scallops

The Assistant Regional Administrator for Sustainable Fisheries, Greater Atlantic Region, NMFS, has approved an Exempted Fishing Permit application for research on Atlantic sea scallops by the Coonamessett Farm Foundation, allowing a commercial fishing vessel to temporarily exempt itself from regulations under the Magnuson-Stevens Act.
