FMCSA Extends Exemption for Ford Motor Company's Non-Compliant Commercial Vehicles

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has renewed Ford Motor Company's exemption to operate its Transit-based commercial vehicles without meeting the exhaust system location requirements for a period of 5 years, following performance-based testing that demonstrates the vehicles' exhaust systems meet safety standards.
