U.S. Department of Energy Issues Presidential Permit for Northern Pass Transmission Line Project

The U.S. Department of Energy has approved a Presidential permit for Northern Pass Transmission LLC to build a 192-mile electric transmission line across the U.S./Canada border in northern New Hampshire, with the potential to impact the environment.
