Boeing Issues Airworthiness Directive for 737-100 to 737-500 Series Airplanes

Boeing has issued a new airworthiness directive for all 737-100 to 737-500 series airplanes, requiring repetitive inspections for cracking of the upper aft skin of the wings and repair if necessary, following reports of cracking at the rear spar of the wings.
