Metropolitan Planning Organization Coordination and Planning Area Reform Rulemaking

The U.S. Department of Transportation is rescinding certain transportation planning regulations related to metropolitan planning area boundaries, MPO designations, and MPO coordination, as mandated by a 2016 statute, effective December 20, 2016.
