CFM International S.A. Issues Airworthiness Directive for Certain LEAP-1A Turbofan Engines

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has adopted a new airworthiness directive requiring removal, inspection, rework, and re-identification of a specific part in certain CFM International S.A. LEAP-1A turbofan engines due to a quality issue that resulted in cracks during the manufacturing process.
