Medicare Program to Host Town Hall Meeting on FY 2019 Add-On Payments for New Medical Services and Technologies

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is hosting a Town Hall meeting to discuss fiscal year 2019 applications for add-on payments for new medical services and technologies under the hospital inpatient prospective payment system (IPPS), inviting interested parties to share their comments and recommendations on whether these applications meet the substantial clinical improvement criterion.
