EPA Withdraws West Virginia Ozone Implementation Plan Rule Due to Adverse Comments

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has withdrawn its direct final rule approving revisions to West Virginia's state implementation plan (SIP) for the 2015 ozone national ambient air quality standards (NAAQS) due to adverse comments received, which updated the effective date for incorporating national standards and additional monitoring methods.
