EPA Withdraws Direct Final Rule on Air Quality Implementation Plans for District of Columbia and Interstate Transport Requirements

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is withdrawing a direct final rule to approve revisions to the District of Columbia state implementation plan for the 2010 1-hour sulfur dioxide standard due to adverse comments. The rule was set to expire on November 17, 2017, if no adverse comments were received.
