U.S. Customs and Border Protection to Launch Mobile Collections & Receipt (MCR) Pilot for Electronic Tax Payments

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will conduct a pilot test program allowing commercial vessels to pay certain taxes and fees electronically at four designated ports of entry, using portable electronic devices to process payments and send electronic receipts via email.
