VA Adopts Extra-Schedular Evaluations for Individual Disabilities

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has amended its regulations to clarify the application of extra-schedular evaluations for service-connected disabilities, which are granted in exceptional compensation cases where the disability is unusually severe and impractical to rate using the regular schedule.
