BASF Corp. Seeks Exemption from Tolerance Requirement for Pesticide Ingredient

BASF Corp. has submitted a petition to the EPA under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, requesting an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance for residues of a specific pesticide ingredient, allowing it to be used in chemical formulations without establishing a maximum permissible level on food or feed commodities.
