EPA Releases Draft Assessments for Neonicotinoid Insecticides, Opens Public Comment Period

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has made available draft ecological and human health risk assessments for the registration review of several neonicotinoid insecticides, including imidacloprid, clothianidin, thiamethoxam, and dinotefuran, and is soliciting public comment on these assessments. The EPA is also releasing assessments of the benefits of neonicotinoid use in cotton and citrus, and is seeking input from the public on these benefits as part of the registration review process.
