EPA Finds Massachusetts Failed to Submit State Plan for Reducing Fine Particles in Air

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has taken final action, stating that Massachusetts has not submitted a required State Implementation Plan to address interstate transport requirements for the 2012 annual fine particles national ambient air quality standard, which aims to reduce air pollution in other states.
