Rolls-Royce Corporation Issues Airworthiness Directive for Turbofan Engines

Rolls-Royce Corporation is adopting a new airworthiness directive for certain AE 3007A and AE 3007C model turbofan engines due to an updated analysis that lowers the life limit of fan wheels, requiring removal of the affected fan wheel at new, lower life limits to address an unsafe condition.
