US Nuclear Regulatory Commission Grants Exemption to Southern Nuclear Operating Company for Vogtle Electric Generating Plant
The US Nuclear Regulatory Commission has granted an exemption to Southern Nuclear Operating Company, allowing a departure from elements of the certification information of the AP1000 design control document, and issued License Amendment Nos. 114 and 113 to the Combined Licenses for the Vogtle Electric Generating Plant Units 3 and 4.
