Southern Nuclear Operating Company, Inc. Receives NRC Exemption for Vogtle Electric Generating Plant

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission has granted an exemption to Southern Nuclear Operating Company, Inc. to deviate from the certification information of the Vogtle Electric Generating Plant's Tier 1 design control document, allowing the plant to proceed with construction and operation of Units 3 and 4.
