Omaha Public Power District Secures NRC Exemption for Fort Calhoun Station Insurance

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission has granted an exemption to Omaha Public Power District to reduce its onsite insurance coverage for Fort Calhoun Station from $1.06 billion to $50 million, in response to a request made by the utility company on April 28, 2017.
