Southern Nuclear Operating Company, Inc. Receives NRC Exemption for Vogtle Electric Generating Plant Upgrades

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission has granted an exemption to Southern Nuclear Operating Company, Inc. to make changes to the emergency habitability system at the Vogtle Electric Generating Plant, Units 3 and 4, without revising the certification information required by the generic design control document.
