U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Issues Revised Guidelines for Evaluating Fatigue in Nuclear Reactor Components

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has released Revision 1 to its Regulatory Guide 1.207, outlining methods for assessing the effects of light-water reactor water environments on metal components in fatigue analyses, in accordance with the American Society of Mechanical Engineers Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code.
