US Nuclear Regulatory Commission Grants Exemption to Southern Nuclear Operating Company for Vogtle Electric Generating Plant

The US Nuclear Regulatory Commission has granted an exemption to Southern Nuclear Operating Company to deviate from certification information for the Vogtle Electric Generating Plant Units 3 and 4, allowing for changes to the plant's Annex Building, Auxiliary Building, and Basemat. The exemption is part of a License Amendment issued concurrently with the amendment to the Combined License for the plant.
