Exelon Seeks Exemptions from Nuclear Regulatory Commission for Reduced Emergency Planning at Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station

Exelon Generation Company, LLC is requesting exemptions from the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission to reduce emergency planning activities at the Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station, which is set to be permanently shut down and defueled, while maintaining certain requirements for communication and coordination with offsite response authorities.
