U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Proposes Amendment to Virgil C. Summer Nuclear Station License

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is proposing to exempt the Virgil C. Summer Nuclear Station (Unit No. 1) from a surveillance requirement, allowing for less frequent calibration of a specific instrument, as requested by South Carolina Electric and Gas Company (SCE&G).
