Southern Nuclear Operating Company, Inc. Receives Exemption from U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission for Vogtle Electric Generating Plant Units 3 and 4

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission has granted an exemption to Southern Nuclear Operating Company, Inc. in response to a request submitted on June 27, 2018, for Vogtle Electric Generating Plant Units 3 and 4, allowing for modifications to the Plant Risk Assessment (PRA) requirements for certain initiating events and modes.
